A few years ago, well about 7 or so years ago. A day or 2 before my son’s birthday. My wife and I were looking for a birthday cake in the shape of a bear, or with a picture of a bear on it. This seemed to be too much for some bakeries. As we got questions like… Do you have a picture of a bear you want to put on it or do you have a picture of how you want it to look and plainly, we don’t do bears.<\/p>\n

Even at the places who did have bear cakes. It was in our opinion quite expensive. What we later learnt was that the prices weren’t that bad. But I digress.
\nThe next year we decided to make a cake ourselves. After all. How bad could it be.<\/p>\n

Well the results below should make our point..<\/p>\n

The first birthday cake my wife and I made for our son’s 2nd birthday<\/p>\n
